Just a general question regarding blender; Will the Unit Presets from Blender 2.79 return for Blender 2.80 or is that idea scrapped, and if so, was the unit presets accurate? Also will bsurfaces be implemented into 2.80?
The presets didn’t work like most users would expect, with the new system they aren’t need so much.

It depends on the author of that add-on or someone else upgrading it. I expect most add-ons will be upgraded, but can’t say much about specific ones since it’s up to the community.
