Industry Compatible Keymap: Questions, suggestions and answers

Combinations of modifier keys (Ctrl/Alt/Shift) in PolyBuild do not seem to work well when using industry compatible keymaps. (It looks like the view is not updated.)
Is there a way around this problem?
