To make the acceptance of Blender’s contribution terms more explicit, pull requests will soon include an automated workflow that requires contributors to actively review and approve the terms under which their code is made available. Previously this was done by acknowledging them as part of the pull request form.
- This needs to be done only once, and will be remembered for future PRs within the Blender project
- The meaning and the goal of the contribution agreement is the same as the one currently used (see below)
- Every contributor is asked to accept/confirm the contribution terms, even when existing agreements are already in place
- If you are currently contributing on behalf of a company or corporation, you should have received direct communication about this. If not, please connect with Thomas Dinges on Blender Chat, or mail [email protected] to review the process.
- This superseeds/addresses the topics discussed at Adopting a CLA for Blender contributions
