Why ColorRamp color value is clamped and limited to 4.875?
Can we have this limit removed please? There may be situation where we may want to use a value of 10 or 100…

Literally ran into this last night. I was using a ColorRamp to create a matte using the Position value from a Geometry node and I had to use a few Math nodes to try to somewhat normalize the range to at least get the values within the ColorRamp’s clamped range. Very frustrating, as it required adjusting multiple nodes to move a single color gradient.
