UV Unwrap small idea for 2.8

It seems that even now, the uv unwrap system is still incomplete. when I unwrap a character body the way I do, the faces appear to be overlapping themselves, which it would need for the user to fix that little problem.
Can you guys find a way to stop that from happening? uv faces should act like a magnet where the disconnected ones should act like a - to - or + to + instead of - to +.
