Using cursor, geometry orientation to add a mesh

Is the plan with geometric orientation of the 3d cursor to allow users to add face aligned meshes?

If so will this show up in the operator panel as an option, or in the tool options bar?

I notice that there is a version of this in edit mode with ‘Add Cube’

It would be so valuable to have this as there is no way of reorienting the home grid to a specific angle. Aligning new meshes just by using an existing face would be so easy to use.
