1.smoothing of mesh isn’t happening.
2.In 2.7x in tapping space you get a recent or search setting which was nice,but in 2.8 isn’t there pls try to include it.
1 and 2 are working properly.
Press ‘W’ to get the specials menu and choose shade smooth.
Search is on F3 by default but you can change it in the preferences.
