Slow shader node on huge objects in 2.8


I installed the new blender 2.8 beta for first tests. I loaded a 800MB obj File and tried to configure materials with the schader node. On this huge object the shader node was very slow (also in solid mode). For every change on the node it takes 10-20 secondes to update while the whole bleneder is blocked.

on Blender 2.79 the same object is fast to edit the shader nodes.

Is this a known issue on Blender 2.8 beta?

I tried to edit the shader nodes with this huge 800MB fractal object in Blender 2.8 Just to change the color in the shader blocks the whole belnder for 4 seconds even in the solid view. In Blender 2.79 it needs not a seconds on this object.
For complexer shader nodes configuretions it need 20 seconds or more for every change on the nodes. It’s realy much slower as in Blender 2.79.

Only if I switch off the visability of the mesh I can edit the shader nodes of huge objects in Blender 2.8
