Slideable Animation Points in NonLinear Animation Mode when Editing

Hello Team Blender,

Many times, I have needed the ability to slide Animation Points over, but the animation had been pushed to Non-Linear Animation Type, which is locked. When you use Tab and the track turns green for Editable mode, you can go in and redo/resave animations, but, you cannot ‘slide’ the points over. Mouse clicking or touching with the mouse turns of Edit mode of that Animation Track.

What if we could slide those points, and use Tab for the only way to turn Edit mode of a Non-Linear track ‘on/off’? Just a humble thought.

Maybe, perhaps a key added to the slider ‘ability’ would help? We could perhaps hold down Alt, or Shift, and click/slide the animation point? Just a thought.
