Shift Space Tools Menu - 3D Cursor Hotkey Error

This is only my second post. I hope I am posting in the correct area.

I noticed in Blender 2.8 that under the shift space tools menu that the 3d cursor icon says that the hotkey is space bar.

Now that the space bar is used to play animation, isn’t this a writing error in the tools menu?

No.
Those shortcuts you see in this menu they only work while this menu is visible. So shift + space then the shortcut is the path to access those…
