I asked non blender users at work what they thought the vert/edge/face icons were and almost everyone guessed pause and stop. They really look like old VTR icons.
I would like to see them modified to remove this confusion.
Thoughts?

The icon designer @jendrzych has acknowledged the problem with these vert/edge/face icons in another thread, and I agree these should be tweaked.
