yesterday I thought of something new in Blender
I thought if it will be possible to create a new material property
like this in this picture. I made this concept to illustrate my idea
what do you thinking about this?

I’ve also wanted something like this, after using Max/Maya/Keyshot/etc. Most have a similar layout like this to see materials and adjust. I agree, it would be nice to have a popup or embedded menu like this, to see your swatches/thumbs more easily, and match other DCCs more closely.
