I am not a fan of the candy or rainbow bar for the properties.
If I had the choice, I would either stay with the mono color setup as before or introduce a bicolor setup (toolbar).
The second one of course is too much work for now but if we have to have colors at all, may I suggest to reuse the palette already introduced in the toolbar?
