Modifiers for Light Sources (Array & Mirror)

Hi

I recently had to create a very large corridor with several floors. I had to add like a thousand spot lights and place them seperately into each lampshade (I was using the array modifier for the lampshades). That was very annoying.
Would it be possible to add “position” modifiers (array & mirror) for lamps? (sun lamp might be excluded on this because it wouldn’t make sense).

…and for empties, useful to place instances without setting up particles systems
