Is there way to return blender render somehow or install both older version of blender (lucky me found 2.79 on a dusty HD) & latest one on one system or make shadow in eve sharp and simple?
You can keep several versions installed, I always download the zip files instead of .exe installers so I can keep them all without installation conflicts
For sharp shadows just uncheck the Soft Shadows checkbox on the render properties

Also just in case you didn’t know: You can always download all official releases from the Blender website up until the very fist versions:
https://download.blender.org/release/
No need to search for old installers or fear of deleting a version and not getting it back.
That being said: It’s probably better to learn how to achieve the same results with Cycles going forward. But I probably don’t tell you anything new, here.
