It’s not possible within blender to keep the density of a particle system consistent.
this is quite a huge problem for vegetations, as it’s get really difficult to stay consistent on a biome system, as the density of plants will change on any terrain or camera change (with a clipping set up as i did).
please prove me wrong
As far as I know, the current particle system (yes, it is quirky) is near its EOL, and soon it will be replaced by particle nodes system.
not soon, the hair particle doesn’t have any plan yet, as brecht said. that’s why i’m trying to regroup everything wrong with it in this topic.
in my point of view i obly talk about the scattering part of the hair particles sys.
