Interactive mode GPU accelerated

Unity just released this Visual Effect Graph.
Looks really interesting, especially the GPU acceleration for particles and stuff.

Maybe this could be a thing in interactive mode and everything nodes too.
Does it make sense to put a GPU acceleration for particles in to blender,
or is a fully CPU based solution better/more flexible?
