Huge polycounts

will blender ever be supporting large number of polygons?
editing high poly models from zbrush isnt possible at moment (symmetry for example)
fps is low. editing mode is pain.
other softwares can work even with more polygons than quantity which slows blender a lot…

yeah, thats a point blender should improve on, specially in dyntopo, it is extremelly laggy.

For sure it’s an important point. Especially if they want to target pros.

They quite changed the engine, that will take a bit of time before having it more optimized.

Also, it’s not that bad. I don’t know about 100M poly scenes but for 7M, it runs smooth on my machine.

Maya is slower in some case actually.
