How to use the open image denoiser?

So now that I have the cycles standalone build working, I am experimenting with renders.
And since I really like the de-noise function in blender, and I saw that it was included in the cmake file I was looking a way to enable this? I checked the example files but couldn’t find any info of the denoiser.
Only an old forum post with a huge chonk of code.

There is no support for denoising in Cycles standalone currently.
