Grease Pencil texture brush caps at start and end can't be removed

I’m playing a lot with texture brushes and I’ve really big problem with Line textured brush. It seems that it is producing some kind of start/end cap of the brush which cannot be removed in any way.

Is this a bug or some kind of necessary feature?
