CPU 100% when CUDA GPU-only rendering

I’ve just noticed this issue on a really simple scene. What actually works for me is to go to preferences and check both the GPU and CPU under CUDA and OPTIX (I’m running a RTX 2080) - and then in my Render Properties select GPU Compute under Device. Now it seems like the CPU isn’t working at 100%

Hi Guys I just found the solution for this CPU using 100% in blender

In Blender go to
1.edit
2. preferences
3.system
4.Tap Cycle Render Device
Change from None to Cuda

Then tap your GPU

Then Save preferences

Now you are done with your blender sitting

1.Now go to task Manager

2.Tap GPU

3.Change the first left top one to Cuda

Then save it

Now you are good to go!

Pls send prayers for people in Myanmar.

Good Luck guys

Thank you. Now I can finally render before Christmas starts haha. I’ve had this problem forever and I didn’t even realize it. Honestly thank you and  for the people in Myanmar

Thank you! Crashed my computer quite a few times before finding this solution. All is well now, but this should really be the default behavior
