Since i did some benchmarks a year ago with Blender 2.8, i’m doing the tests again with the same CPU and GPU with today’s 2019-05-23 build.
Here are the benchmarks, results are in minutes, the lower the better:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500x
GPU: AMD RX 580 (8GB)
It seems like AMD GPU rendering got a lot of improvements… on the other side, CPU rendering got slower or similar results.

i like the fact how linear the GPU is now. and is no more that sensitive.
