Asset Browser Default behavior

Can we get a setting to change the default behavior of the Asset Browser. To me, it’s backwards to have an asset browser default to only saving assets in the current file, instead of saving them to a general library you can use across any scene. This way users like me don’t feel the frustration of having to do extra steps to save assets --That’s why until this behavior changes I’m sticking with the Asset Management Plugin that works the way an asset browser should. If other people want to work that way I’m fine with that, but you need to give users the ability to work the way that they want to and right now you can’t set the Asset browser to default to the other way round.

That is definitely the thing I miss most in the current implementation, easily adding objects/materials from the current file directly to your main asset library.
