A better Loop Cut experience

Is there a reason why we don’t have these 3 functionalities in the Loop Cut tool ?

  • loopcut in specific areas
  • loopcut both sides
  • loopcut only on selected faces

In blender the loop start in the middle of the polygon, for long polygons you have to zoom out in order to perform the operation and if you use a wacom tablet (like myself and many artists do) you won’t have enough space to slide.
