- The patch might need extra tweaking to take cases when color space conversion can shift HUE. Eevee solves similar problem, so maybe some code can be shared.

- Follow-ups:
- A fix for (missing compositor update on file path changes)[#118117 - Image datablock filepath change doesn't update when compositor is set to GPU execution mode. Works in tiles and full frame. - blender - Blender Projects] should be safe to cherry-pick to 4.1
- Omar documented differences between CPU and GPU and is working on closing up the gap.
