I reported as one bug, I think these settings depends on each other.

The bug has been fixed in the latest nightly build. In my simple test scene the render time went down from 75s to 51s. Huge time saver. From now on I don’t have to think about enabling CPU+GPU, I will just enable it. This was a long time coming and finally it works. Thanks to @lukasstockner97.
