Viewport's "turntable matrix"?

Hi there,

I’m playing with custom viewport matrices and was wondering if there is a way to change how turntable nagivation is determined, or rather what it is based on. I was hoping it’s based on some matrix or quat, but I don’t think it’s exposed anywhere, certainly not in region_3d.

To clarify, I’m talking about the navigation orbit method, so prefs.input.view_rotate_method.
Having view matrices not aligned with the world, can be odd to control in turntable mode.
Maybe I should just get used to trackbal rotation :slight_smile:
