What the heck is this utterly uninformative thing?
Shouldn’t it at least say that “You’re currently using Eevee and its settings can be found in the render tab in the bottom right”?

No, I’ve stopped reporting bugs to Blender.
They always get marked as design feature requests.

This is actually a bug
Edited the topic to remove the RC3 and moved it into the paper cuts area.
I suspect someone considers this to be a feauture…
