Using material nodes in a custom render engine

I’ve been trying to make a material node system for the past three days without any success. The problem lies in the fact that when I switch to my (custom) engine the shader editor window dissapears and, if I try to enable material nodes, blender dumps the core.

You should share some of your code so people can see what you’re doing… anyways you should see if you can get in touch with the LuxCore developers, since they are usually pretty willing to help and this is something they’ve solved for their addon.
