Title bar appearance changed 3.3 -> 3.4

I have just begun learning Blender on Fedora 37 and sometimes Windows 10. I was going to rely on either Flathub or Steam to keep up to date with the latest release since the Fedora native is locked at 3.3.1 but I noticed something odd. Whether I get 3.4.1 from Flathub or Steam I get a different titlebar than when I run the Fedora native 3.3.1 as seen in the screenshot. I’ve pasted my system info for the two versions below. Is it a window system difference? Is 3.4.x using Wayland and 3.3.x using X11?

As you can see in the output of the 3.4.1 version, it is indeed using wayland.

Our official builds ships with ‘libdecor’ for drawing a title bar in wayland.
The reason for this is the Gnome does not support server side window decorations.
So to ensure that it works for Gnome users, we have to draw our own title bar.

If you are using any other window manager than Gnome, you can compile Blender without libdecor and have the title bar be the same as when using the X11 backend.

As far as I know, with GTK plugin the cairo way (!43) · Merge requests · Jonas Ådahl / libdecor · GitLab, it should be possible to improve the situation. I’m not familiar with GHOST at all though, so I didn’t look into it myself yet though. Though maybe we just need to wait for a new version of libdecor.

Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place or maybe this does not exist. Can I tell Blender to use X11 instead of Wayland? Or is this something I have to pick at compile time?
