The Sun Position addon is very useful but sometimes during the design its difficult to rapidly visualize the sun trajectory for a given location in the viewport. There is the option to create a collection with objects to draw analemmas and diurnal ready for render but I was lacking some fast viewport feedback, something like the Show North option. So I dived into the code and with the help of people from the dev chat managed to get this functionality working. I’ve never submitted a patch and couldn’t find the contact of the addon maintainer (Damien Picard (pioverfour)), so I’m wondering if there is interest in adding these two options (Show Surface and Show Analemmas) to the addon!
