While H to hide and alt+H to make everything visible work in the outliner, Shift+H to solo an object doesn’t do anything. It would be nice to have it for consistency.

Agreed. I think a lot of the object operations that work in the 3D view should work in the outliner. For example, I don’t see reason why shift-D shouldn’t work there, etc.

Yes! Now that I think about it, as we can parent with shift+drag, duplicating shoud be done also with alt+drag
Oddly enough, I just found out that ctrl+clicking on the visibility toggles for “soloing”, works with collections but not with objects!
Blender is always a weird discovery…
