The very useful “Rename Active Item” popup works in the 3d view, node editor and video sequence editor, but can’t be used to rename animation strips in the NLA editor. There, it only offers to rename the active object in the 3d view, which isn’t useful and is also out of context. Preferably, the popup would allow renaming of strips in the NLA editor as well.
