Just was reading through the release notes and noticed that the Distribute Points in Volume node is left unmentioned.
It would be nice to have it mentioned in a more nodes category atleast as this node has been long requested and took effort from numerous contributors (including myself) in order to get into blender.

It is, towards the bottom, in the “And New General Nodes” section. It has a different, less fancy thumbnail taken directly from the manual though, so perhaps they added it after you pointing out?
