Measurement tool snapping

I would like to list a list of some precautions that I am experiencing using the measures and that should be corrected - added to the measurement snapping:

  • When we are in Ortho views it would be useful for the snapping of the measures to take into account only the snap points projected on that precise plane where we are working, the advantages are many, first of all they do not find us with “oblique” measures as the snap jumps up snap points that are superimposed on deep. the common use is that if we need oblique snapping, these are better done in 3D perspective view.

  • It would be useful that the rulers are not created by dragging the mouse but that point click to point clicks are created for greater precision, and only in case of need to make corrections, the end point is grabbed to move the ruler .

  • The need to have rulers as objects brings many advantages: allowing snapping on them to make objects of great precision, having the optional visual display of cents, millimeters, degree, color, thickness, dotted hatch, texts and more, entering “edit mode” to edit the rulers already created and positioned, etc …
