I have built a make and a make release version at Windows. And I think there is one release too many in the folder names …

There isn’t, one of them differentiates between a Debug and Release build, the other one is the blender configuration (ie lite,bpy,full,release) if one is chosen.

At linux the folders doesn’t seem to behave this way though. But let me check first before i say something wrong …
doesn’t really matter we take a stab at making a sane build folder for you, if you don’t like it, run make.bat builddir lazy_dodo_likes_kittens and you can have any folder name you want. (Atleast on windows, unsure what if anything linux/mac offers there)
