Is this ever going to be merged? Been waiting ages for it. It has been marked as Accepted and was tagged for 2.82(!!) but seems to have just fallen through the review cracks?

Thats happened with me. Just poke at the reviewers on blender.chat when they are online and see if you make progress. Sometimes small things take a back seat when people are busy.
