I was wondering if it would be possible to make available in the python API the mapping of the matching indexes of the vertices that get used for the topological symmetry (In functions such as: Topology mirror in edit mode, or mirror vertex group (topology) ). Traversing the whole topology to find the matching vertices is a very heavy calculation for python. It would be great to have that part exposed for python scripting.
