Cycles standalone

Hi,

We are using cycles as a module in our application since quite some time.
We tracked updates from the standalone repository so far.
We noticed that there aren’t commits to that repository since August, 22nd.
Now we tried to use the code from the blender repository. There seem to be changes incompatible to the way we use cycles.
When we try to run the standalone cycles application (e.g. cycles scene_monkey.xml) we get results where rectangular areas appear and disappear on the screen.
Is there a way to still cycles standalone with the recent changes?
If yes, is there a description how to use it?

Hi Thomas,

If you’d like a more up-to-date branch of standalone I am transplanting the patches here:

Hi,

I checked out your branch. As far as I can see this is the same state
as the old standalone branch where the commits ended 22nd of August. Do
you plan to introduce changes after that date from the Blender branch into yours?

Best regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

The explicit link I gave points to the blender2.82 branch, if you looked at master that’s just the August 22nd branch that is just in-sync with Cycles standalone.

Cheers

I think it is fixed now.
Brecht checked something in on 1/31 that seems to have fixed it…
