It would be nice to have a built-in function to get final render time as an output of render. Is it possible?

It’s clearly visible on screen, printed to the terminal, and saved in the metadata…but I cannot find a single solution for accessing this in Python. And I’m not the only one looking; there seem to be a number of requests for this around the web. I second this request for sure!
