Building Blender on Rocky Linux GCC version problem

Hello friends,

I try to build Blender on a fresh installed Rocky Linux 8. For that i followed the advice at the Wiki here. Building Blender/Other/Rocky8ReleaseEnvironment - Blender Developer Wiki

But now i run into the problem that the required GCC version is not found. scl enable gcc-toolset-11 bash does not help.

GCC 11 is definitely installed though.

Could you please give me a clue what steps i miss?

Nevermind, i was tricked by the cmake cache. I’ve removed the build folder, and started from scratch and now it works.
