Blender openvdb liquid simulation format specifications


I’m looking for the documentation/specs of the format used by Blender to store liquid flip fluid simulation. I know it uses openvdb, but what are the grid names / attribute names used ?

(I’m trying to import liquid simulations from other software as a liquid cache, not as volume → import openvdb) in other words I’m trying to make Blender believe it is its own cache so I can bake liquid mesh from external liquid simulation software… I hope that makes sense ^^
