tried Blender from official pacman repo and Steam version

There is a similar bug report (that I’m too lazy to go look for) which suggests problems with the video driver. You didn’t mention driver & card but updating your video driver might be a good thing.

If you do file a bug report, try using official Blender from blender.org first.

Official pacman repo - having enough amount of trust, so no needs to recompile Blender by myself, I guess
