Blender 2.8: Cycles OptiX packaging

I agree changing the copyright on the headers would be best, but my understanding is that the chance of this happening is not great.

A simple readme stating the intent of these files might be enough, though.

Stefan is right, if you look into the impl headers, piles of inlines and such, which do generate code, and not just define some data structures…

This is our dilemma. I’ve packaged the headers into its own “build only” package now, which even avoids distribution. With is simple readme (officially provided from NVidia), I might be able to finally get around the legal entities in our company…

When you get right down to it, you wouldn’t be allowed to call your OptiX enabled Blender builds open source… :unamused:
