Nobody has been able to obtain https://devtalk.blender.org/badges/48/wiki-editor despite many people contributing to the Blender wiki including brecht (Vector displacement in the manual) and others.
Why might this badge not work?
Is this badge referring to a forum wiki page, which has not been setup on this forum?
I’m not sure how this works but I thought it was weird nobody had it
That is for Discourse wiki posts, which we haven’t been used so far:
Suggestion; change the badge name and text from:
[Wiki Editor]
This badge is granted the first time you edit one wiki post.
to
[Discourse Wiki Editor]
This badge is granted the first time you edit one discourse wiki post.
This way creates a new group.
or
[Wiki Editor (Discourse)]
This badge is granted the first time you edit one discourse wiki post.
This way creates a Wiki subgroup.
These badge names are not editable as far as I know, and this is not important enough to modify the Discourse code.
To avoid confusion, I disabled the badge for the time being. If that’s an issue let me know @brecht.
