30 min per day video of blender developers teaching an aspiring coder

What do you think of this idea for a daily video from blender?

Every day, one of the in house Blender developers takes it in turn to spend 30 minutes to an hour to train an aspiring blender programmer. The aim to take the developer from zero to hero over x number of months.

It would start with basic scripts in python, then more complex scripts, then addons, then switch to C and C ++ to make improvement, fix bugs, etc. Whilst all the way through introducing the learner and thousands of viewers to the Blender API.

Back in the day I used to love watching similar tutorials from the late Matt Busby over on 3d Buzz, where he’d basically be teaching a student how to use a various 3d softwares. Much better than normal tutorials, because the student’s lack of knowledge would always ensure the pace and explanations were sufficiently explained.

It would also provide the developers with a less boring opportunity to go through and improve the current API, whilst giving thousands of other aspiring Blender developers an opportunity to learn from the best.
