USD
- The USD targets task for Blender 5.0.
- The point instancer exporter PR has been merged in time for 4.5, as an experimental USD feature.
- There may be some follow-ups to be addressed still before 4.5 release, Jesse will contact Liz about it.
Other
- FBX:
- The new importer (based on the UFBX library) will become the default option in 5.0. The python one will be marked as legacy.
- Collada has been fully removedfrom
main/Blender 5.0.
