  • Omar: all pixel nodes in new CPU compositor
  • Omar is solving some issues with the non-pixel nodes, eventually it could become a taskforce to help porting remaining nodes,
  • The meeting briefly discussed possible breaking changes for Blender 5.0:
    • A good target would be to support nodes like Math across all node system
    • The exact impact on compatibility is not yet clear. Maybe it is something easy to support keeping full forward compatibility. Need to check in a bit deeper details.

This is a fortnightly video chat meeting for planning and discussion of VFX & Video in Blender. Any contributor (developer, UI/UX designer, writer, …) working on these areas in Blender is welcome to join and add proposed items to the agenda.

For users and other interested parties, we ask to read the meeting notes instead so that the meeting can remain focused.
