  • Blender conference!
    • Lots of talk about Grease Pencil. People seemed generally excited for whats next!
  • Grease Pencil related talks:
    • Claymation and Next Lab Grease Pencil VR
    • Grease Pencil 3: development updates and showcase
    • EWILAN’S QUEST: Creating a 2D series with Blender Grease Pencil
  • Release for 4.3 is soon
    • Planned for 12th November, but might be delayed by up to a week (will be decided on 6th).
• Development updates
  • Focus has been solely on bug fixing for the past weeks
  • Still 13 open high priority bugs remaining

  • Julien: Was wondering about the screen space stroke thickness option in 4.3.
    • Falk: The option has been removed. See the migration page for more info on how to recreate the effect with a modifier.
  • Would be good to have some more python snippets especially for using attributes
    • Could be a python template maybe?
