- Jacques shows a prototype where socket shapes don’t propagate between nodes.

- In this design link visualization could work the same.
- We would use different socket shapes to reference grids, lists, and images. The idea is to give the “more common” dynamic socket type for math nodes and similar nodes the simpler circle socket shape.
- We should be able to detect the output shape automatically, but it’s possible that we need to expose it for users to change manually.
